Marcus Brigstocke, award-winning comedian and satirist, has been confirmed as the entertainment for the FN50 Dinner 2011.

Marcus began his comedy career at Bristol University where he performed stand up and character shows winning the BBC New Comedian of 1996. He has since emerged as a major comedy, writing and acting talent, performing in the UK and beyond and has become a regular voice on BBC Radio with an impressive list of TV and film credits.

Along with the success of his excellent topical talk show The Late Edition on BBC4, his TV appearances also include Live from the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, NewsKnight with Sir Trevor McDonald and The Now Show. Marcus returns as team captain in Argumental alongside Rufus Hound and John Sergeant where comedians argue the toss of some of the most topical talking points out there.
