How do I get a feed reader?
There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
The advantage of browser-based readers is that you can view your RSS feeds from any computer. Downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer, in the same way that you either download your email using Outlook, or keep it on a web-based service like Hotmail.
Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want it to receive from fleetnews.co.uk.
Examples of feed readers
You have not yet made any purchases

RSS or Really Simple Syndication allows you to get free content from us straight to your desktop as soon as it’s added to the site. It works in a similar way to email bulletins, except the updates are in real time and will be sent to your desktop instead of your inbox.
Before you can start using this new service, you will need a feed reader, also known as a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to them. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see examples of feed readers.
Once you’ve got a feed reader, you can then specify what content you want from us.
You can specify the number of articles you want displayed in your reader and, in terms of content, we have news, used market, European news, roadtests and Fleet Van. We can also send you updates from our forum topics, the editor's blog and the latest jobs added to fleetnews.co.uk.
You can also specify what topics you want stories on, by typing in a keyword in the box below. So, you can tell us to send you articles on, for example, deals, tax, health and saftey etc.
When you have made your choice of feed and have either clicked on 'Create Feed' or one of the links below, copy all of the address in the browser window that opens and paste it into your feed reader.

FNO places equal importance on all of its 'homepages' such as /news and /roadtests.
Therefore, the main traditional homepage should be thought of as the portal to this content-rich site.
It's your portal, so you choose the content you want to see at a glance every time you visit fleetnews.co.uk.

And how would you like that done sir?
Would you like to see the latest news in your inbox twice weekly?
Or perhaps you need to keep abreast of all the European fleet news.
It's your site so you choose...
