Fleet operators are being invited to take part in a major initiative designed to highlight and reward excellent service from suppliers. Launched at the 2006 Hit for Six Conference, the Charter for Fleet Suppliers sets out the basic standards fleet suppliers expect from any supplier that deals with them.

The list of standards followed extensive consultation with the industry and are based on the original comments from fleet decision-makers at the 2005 Hit for Six Conference.

The final version of the Charter is set out here and we are asking fleet decision-makers to help promote best practice by naming suppliers which they feel meet these standards.

The process is very simple.

• Click on nomintion form above, fill it in and press send.
• Fleet News' staff will carry out some quick checks to make sure the nomination is genuine.
• The name of the company meeting these standards will then be posted on Fleet News Online, along with any comments from the nominee.

 Nominations will be dated and after six months will be removed from the site to reflect the fast-changing nature of the industry.

Act now. If your supplier has made your business better, then put their name forward and we will do the rest.
