Vehicle leasing and contract hire broker Synergy Automotive has seen a 66% increase in sales since 2012.

The company, which was founded in 2006 by Paul Parkinson, posted a £1.3 million turnover in 2015, an increase of almost 100% from the previous year, and has moved into new offices to accommodate its growth.

Synergy Automotive's success comes as the new car market shifts from buying to leasing.

Parkinson said: “The ‘car ownership way’ is fast becoming redundant. Few people buy a smartphone anymore - they search for a model they like, then agree a contract term that suits them. The new vehicles market is following suit.”

Synergy Automotive also believes the sector is experiencing a sharp increase in customer service expectations and attributes its success to striving for excellence in customer experience. The business has been awarded Gold Trusted Merchant status from the global feedback engine Feefo for achieving a 100% customer service rating provided by more than 500 customers in the past year.

It also wants to boost standards with Parkinson joining the BVRLA National Leasing Broker Committee earlier this year.
