LeasePlan has appointed Tom Brewer as Network brand director. The position was previously held by Chris Tubbs who, after 20 years of service to LeasePlan UK, is leaving the firm.

Brewer’s appointment has come from within the business, having already worked for LeasePlan for 10 years. During this time, he has held a number of roles including account management positions, head of product services, head of commercial performance and most latterly brand director for LeasePlan Go.

Previously, he worked as a regional sales manager for Europcar, where he was responsible for securing new clients for short term vehicle hire, and the branch manager for south east England for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

LeasePlan UK managing director Matt Dyer said: “On behalf of the board, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Brewer as Network brand director. Tom’s 10 years of service at LeasePlan, and the various roles he has already undertaken, means that he is able to bring with him a rounded view of our corporate, ancillary, SME and retail business.

“Tom's in-depth experience of the automotive sector will help strengthen our ability to grow together. His record of driving growth in the SME and personal leasing sector, coupled with his experience driving strategic improvement is a vital asset to us all.”

Brewer said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of brand director for Network. It is the sector of our business aimed at providing small business and private individuals with vehicle leasing solutions through our franchise partners, and I relish the opportunity to bring the knowledge I have built of the SME market at LeasePlan Go to a new sector of the business.

“I really enjoy working in environments with variety and change and look forward to the challenges that working as brand director of Network will present.”
