North of England

 

£40,000 to £50,000 plus car and bonus package

 

Our client is one of Europe’s  largest  vehicle leasing and fleet management company’s and  are widely recognised as one of the industry’s leading service providers, with a proven portfolio of award winning products for major plc’s, small businesses and private individuals.

 

They are currently recruiting a Corporate Sales Manager to join their expanding New Business Sales team covering the North of England.

 

We are looking for a well organised, professional candidate who can quickly make an impact within this exciting role. The Corporate Sales Manager will have a proven track record of success in B2B and a good awareness of the vehicle leasing, fleet management and the growing mobility solutions sector.

 

We are looking for someone who understands a strategic sales approach and has experience of making business-affecting decisions and not be afraid to adapt new techniques and solutions to achieve maximum results. The successful candidate will have to be tenacious, have a strong commercial awareness and have be target orientated.

.

You role will be to identify and win new business opportunities with fleets of 50+ vehicles in the Corporate Sector. This role is supported by dedicated new business sales support and is responsible for all processes up to and including implementation before handover of the account to the Account Development Team.

 

Duties include: -

§  Meeting profit and unit targets set by the business on monthly, quarterly and annual basis by taking ownership of your own accounts and work load

§  Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within a given territory, from initial prospect visits through to presentation and proposal stages before handing over to the Account Development Team

§  Establishing the prospects’ financial position and suitability in conjunction with Customer Accounting (Underwriting)

§  Ensuring all relevant documentation is in place upon securing a new account.

§  Keeping logs and providing monthly data on appointments attended, pipeline and new accounts signed

§  Conducting in house visits and presentations for new customers where appropriate

§  Working closely with all other internal departments to ensure all services required by the customer can be delivered

§  Ensuring quality of customer service in accordance with the brand, answering queries and ironing out issues as soon as possible

§  Communicating relevant information and updates to Managers and Directors

§  Supporting the ethos of professionalism, team spirit and innovation

 

Key skills;

§  Proven negotiation and new business sales experience in a b2b environment

§  Knowledge of the Vehicle leasing and Automotive sector and the competitor market

§  Presentation skills

§  Experience in influencing and persuading to deliver solutions and win business

§  Self-motivation – able to work to company deadlines while taking ownership of work

§  Target and opportunity driven – looks for the ‘win’ wherever possible

§  Commercial and financial awareness

§  Strong decision making skills, tenacity and resilience.

§  Solution orientated, able to adapt methods of approach and deliver creative solutions

§  Excellent communication skills across all areas and at all levels

§  Professional attitude to work

§  IT literate – working knowledge of Microsoft packages
