A GAP Vehicle Hire Branch Manager is a highly professional, outgoing and motivated individual who plays an invaluable part in building the future of the business by leading their team in a fast paced environment where standards are high. You will manage, train, mentor and motivate the team to achieve and exceed all branch targets, this includes budgets, improving profits, maximising vehicle availability to minimising costs, whilst ensuring that you and your team deliver excellent and efficient customer service.

Job purpose & accountabilities:


The Branch Manager is responsible for the day- to-day management of a Branch of GAP Vehicle Hire.



Key Objectives / Areas of Responsibility
 

  • Effective management of vehicle utilisation

  • Effective management of the team

  • Deliver excellent customer service

  • Effective management of costs

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to drive value and exploit opportunities to grow the Branch

  • Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritise workload

  • Carry out monthly reviews to quality assure Branch performance

  • Ability to produce accurate and timely Management Information

  • Disciplined Work Approach

  • Flexible and able to work under tight time pressures

     

 

 

 

Skills mandatory:

  • Knowledge and usage of MS Excel and Word

  • Results and quality orientation driven

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise work and deliver to deadlines

  • Experience of managing a Vehicle Hire operation

 

Skills desirable:

  • An understanding of call centre or HR Shared Services environment

Knowledge of Employee Life Cycle
