Farg is a well known player in the Accident Management sector. We are looking to strengthen our team and recruit a Business Development Director to proactively identify, negotiate and implement new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and execute the selling activity of the company’s accident management and claims outsourcing services to various sales prospects within the industry which would include Fleets, Insurers, Brokers, Claims Management Companies, Legal Expense insurers and Solicitors. To be considered for this role we are looking for someone from a Business Development background with a proven track record, who has sold in the broad Accident Management sector.
The delivery of profitable new business.
Maintain and develop a robust database of sales prospects within the Salesforce CRM platform
Proactively monitor and measure personal performance, forecasting and sales pipeline and the provision of this information to the CEO
Analysing industry and customer business trends and communicating forecasts/intelligence internally
Develop robust business cases and external presentations/proposals to engage and influence identified prospects
Maintain relationships with the key influencers and decision makers within Insurance Claims sector
The ideal candidate will be expected to have the following attributes:
Ability to demonstrate success and experience in winning accounts of various size/value within the sector
Established contacts in the larger Claims Management companies, LEI, Insurer and Broker market
Thorough knowledge of strategic management principles and consultative selling approach. Understands the principles of solution selling, market sector targeting, development and communication of value propositions to specific market sectors
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Senior Strategic Sales role preferably new business/business development
Proven business development skills including compelling bid writing and a proven track record of client acquisition and growth
Strong negotiation skills
Proven experience and confidence in dealing across a multi-layered contact
