JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

PACKAGE: £37,500-40,000 Basic, £55-60K realistic 1st year OTE (un-capped), expensed executive car, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday

SELLING: Commercial vehicles, contract hire, rental, fleet management (leading UK services provider)
SELLING TO: Business customers across all sectors (SME and corporate accounts)

TERRITORY: Birmingham and West Midlands (includes Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Cannock and surrounding)

LOCATION: Ideally you will live within a commutable distance of the above locations.

JOB ROLE
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for consultative selling of our client's superb commercial vehicle, contract hire, rental and fleet management services offering.
The Business Development Manager role involves inheriting a portfolio of existing accounts, however the initial drive will be to develop a strong new business pipeline.
You will take responsibility for managing the whole sales cycle, building relationships at all levels.
All accounts won are retained to be developed by the BDM, to identify new revenue opportunities.

PERSON NEEDED:
For the Business Development Manager role our client is looking for:
-A strong B2B sales track record.
-At least some experience of the commercial vehicles, contract hire, rental, fleet management or similar market sector
-A quality focus and ability to communicate with high spend accounts
-Excellent organisation skills, the ability to prioritise sales opportunities.
