Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited [VWFS] is the finance and leasing arm of the Volkswagen Group. Funding products, for retail and business user customers, are developed and delivered to the Volkswagen Group retailer networks to assist them in maximising their vehicle sales and income opportunities. VWFS has grown year-on-year by continually developing its products and approach to managing customers.
Volkswagen Financial Services – Fleet is looking to appoint a Corporate Sales Manager to cover the south central region of the UK. As the “all makes” leasing division of VWFS, provides leasing solutions to the corporate fleet market and is tasked with increasing the customer base for ongoing development via direct new customer acquisition supported internally by a specialised administration function.
This role will be developing the sector of the market where choice of vehicle is a pre-requisite. VWFS Fleet has the objective of enhancing the group activities by working both with the brands and providing future opportunity for brand conversion.
Proactively generate new leads and hunt for new business opportunities with Corporates with a 1 to 500 fleet size
Own, manage and develop your own Territory Development Plan (TDP) through Sales Force
To build and maintain a close working relationship with the Volkswagen Group Brands.
Identify potential fleet opportunities and develop sales proposals with the aim to exceed volume and profit targets.
Develop a pro-active rapport with large dealer groups to create new business sales opportunities in the fleet sector.
In conjunction with the Brand Fleet Sales team, identify potential funding opportunities, develop and present sales proposals direct to customers.
Build and develop professional working relationships with established customers.
Skills and Experience Required
Extensive knowledge and sales experience within the contract hire market
Proven sales record in Corporate B to B contract hire New Business Sales
Highly organised, used to working to tight deadlines and able to work under own initiative
Proven ability to effectively plan the workload/ area in sales to maximise delivery of business objectives
Excellent interpersonal skills
High levels of drive and motivation
PC literate specifically in MS Office platform packages
Knowledge of SalesForce database
