This is the new Ford Fiesta which goes on sale this autumn – and the production model has stayed true to the striking looks of the Verve concept car.

Due to make its world debut at Geneva, the Fiesta will be offered in three and five-door hatchback form and with a choice of 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 petrol engines.

Also available will be 14 and 1.6 TDCi diesels.

Ford is offering ‘large car’ features on the Fiesta, with Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and the Covers+ system first seen on the Mondeo and Galaxy.

Further details will be announced closer to its on-sale date later this year.
