A new hands-free phone system with Bluetooth music streaming has been launched, aimed at the van fleet market.
iO Talk1 from Armour Automotive is designed to minimise driver distraction and support safer driving.
The firm says it “enables the driver to act in a safe and legally compliant manner when using a mobile phone, reducing risk to both the driver and other road users.”
iO Talk1 integrates with the vehicle’s existing audio system to direct phone conversations, satnav commands and music into the vehicle’s front two speakers.
The system works with all Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, iPhone 3G, PDAs, iPods MP3 players and sat-navs.
