Manufacturers have recalled more than 46,000 vehicles in the past month to rectify potential faults.
- Suzuki: 32,000 Swifts (no build dates available), faulty rear seatbelt anchorages.
- Jaguar: 4,074 XFs built from 16/03/09-24/07/09 (engine may cut out).
- Honda: 889 Civics built from 17/08/09-20/08/09 (faulty handbrake).
- Chevrolet: 597 Matiz built from 08/06/09-31/07/09 (faulty front seatbelt buckle).
- Citroen: 754 C2/C3s built from 20/01/09-17/02/09 (faulty handbrake).
- Citroen: 54 Berlingo and Xsara Picasso models built from 03/04/09-15/04/09 (faulty rear dampers.
- Ford: 8,498 Transits built from 01/07/07-31/08/07 (faulty steering hub).
Only specific VINs are affected for each model recall.
