European fleets using biodiesel will find pump prices may rise through punishing countervailing duties being imposed by the European Union on American exports of the fuel.

Brussels alleges Washington unfairly subsidises its producers and is protecting EU biodiesel manufacturers with the tariffs, ranging from Euro 211.20/ tonne to Euro 237/tonne, depending on the supplier.
