CitySprint has been awarded a three-year contract by Cambridgeshire County Council to provide it with same day courier services on a daily basis across the county.
The Cambridge-based company won the contract with the council via a competitive tender process.
Jon Collyns, procurement category manager at Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “We were particularly impressed with their professionalism, competitive pricing and leading edge technology, which enables us to view a real time map location of each courier and access comprehensive online reporting tools.”
A large proportion of the contract will entail CitySprint’s CRB checked couriers delivering literature to schools across the county.
