ATS Euromaster has strengthened its fleet of dedicated ‘car’ mobile service vans with the delivery of 44 new 3.5 tonne Mercedes-Benz Sprinters – equating to investment of more than £1.7 million.

The new vehicles will be used to support the increased demand for mobile fitments which has been driven primarily by the FN50 market – a sector in which ATS Euromaster has increased its share from 18 to 28% over the past 18 months.

Comprising a mix of fleet additions and replacements, the new, long wheelbase Sprinters see the dedicated ‘car’ fleet grow by 25% to 128 units, supported by a further 200 dual-purpose mobiles which are equipped to fit both car and commercial vehicle tyres.

Steve Bury, head of National Car at ATS Euromaster, said: “We have transitioned our fleet car business to a much stronger mobile strategy, following increasing demand from our customers to fit tyres at their home or place of work.”
