To help ease pressure on the fleet industry, Auto Windscreens has extended its glass repair and replacement hours to 8am–8pm, seven days a week for its 700-strong mobile service fleet.
The new operational hours means customers can choose a time and date to fit for glass replacement and repairs around their working and social life and not incur out of hours charges.
Nigel Davies, Auto Windscreens sales and marketing director, explained: “Traditionally, the automotive glazing services industry’s core hours have been Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and any work completed outside these hours incurs additional costs.
"By extending our hours we are giving fleets more opportunity to control their cost base.”
