J & E Hall has extended its exclusive contract hire and fleet management partnership with Venson Automotive Solutions to the end of 2012.

The two companies have signed a new three-year contract that will mean the business relationship will have run for almost 17 years.

Dartford-headquartered J & E Hall currently operates an all diesel fleet of 82 cars and 49 light commercial vehicles.

The Ford dominated fleet, which is largely composed of Focus, Mondeo and Transit Connect vehicles, is operated on a 48-month replacement cycle with mileage pooled to keep end of contract charges in check.

The company chose to outsource its fleet management to Venson in April 1996 and swiftly moved away from funding vehicles themselves to contract hire.

In recent years, the relationship has extended to include a range of services including full maintenance, vehicle rental and accident management.
