Automotive Leasing has been selected as a key supplier on the new Pan Government vehicle hire services framework agreement, effective from March 22, 2010, for four years.

Led by Buying Solutions, the new agreement can be used across all public sector organisations to create a comprehensive vehicle hire service covering both cars and commercials up to 7.5 tonnes

The agreement brings together the previously fragmented supply chain and presents the public sector with a rental offering from one day up to 12 months and a choice of providers that meet the strict selection criteria set by Buying Solutions. It will also encourage the sector to share best practice and benefit from ‘smart procurement’ savings.

The new framework is designed to meet a variety of short to medium term vehicle hiring requirements. Vehicles supplied can include standard cars, light commercial vehicles, executive cars and specialist vehicles.

Stuart Walker, brand director at Automotive Leasing, said: “This all makes it easier for clients to access a variety of services from Automotive Leasing without the need to tender and thereby delivering optimum efficiency and real cost savings in public sector fleets.”
