Inchcape Fleet Solutions has signed new rolling glass supplier contracts with two of the UK’s leading glass suppliers, Autoglass and National Mobile Windscreens, following a competitive tender.
The new contract with Autoglass extends a 15-year business partnership, while National Mobile Windscreens becomes a supplier for the first time.
Inchcape Fleet Solutions is simultaneously looking to drive down fleet operating costs for customers by stepping up the repair rather than replacement of vehicle glass after announcing these new contracts.
Peter Eldridge, Inchcape head of operations, said: “Both suppliers offer a strong combination of glass repair or replacement either at centres or via a mobile service, which is important for our customers.
“It is our intention to increase the glass repair aspect of the business where possible as this will reduce costs for our customers.”
