Recharging network for electric and plug-in hybrids takes a step closer

A national recharging network for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles has moved a step closer, according to the coalition deal.

A document published today (Wednesday, May 12) sets out where agreements have been reached between the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.

In total, eleven policy areas are covered in the coalition deal, with commitment to the recharging network given under a section dedicated to the environment.
