Commercial dishwasher supplier, Winterhalter, is converting its entire service fleet to Volkswagen vans with an order for 47 vehicles, consisting of Volkswagen Caddy Maxi, Transporter and Crafter vans.
Winterhalter designs and manufactures commercial dishwashing systems for the catering and hospitality industry, and these vans will be used in its national service operation network.
‘We operate a 96 per cent first time fix service for our customers so vehicle reliability was very important in our purchasing decision, and as a German manufacturer we were pleased to find a German van brand that could meet our standards,’ said Jason Mackay, operations director at Winterhalter.
‘The servicing team are very happy with the vehicle replacement programme and we have been very pleased with the efficient service from our local Volkswagen Van Centre in Bletchley, Milton Keynes,’ he continued.
