Cotswold Community Transport has been awarded £5,000 as the winner of the LowCVP and Energy Saving Trust Community Challenge.

It will use the money on engine control unit (ECU) eco-mapping technology within its fleet of 15 minibuses.

The re-mapping alters the vehicle’s engine management system set up to optimise fuel performance.

The money will also be used to provide eco-driving training to drivers.
