Škoda has announced the introduction of a 1.6 TDI CR 105bhp engine to its Superb range.
The engine offers improved driveability, fuel consumption and CO2 over the 1.9 TDI PD unit which it replaces.
Combined mpg has also been improved by 6.9mpg for the hatch and 5.6mpg for the estate, while emissions have been reduced by 19g/km and 20g/km respectively.
It is available in S and SE trim levels, and prices start from £17,480.
