RoadTrip, Vauxhall's free smartphone app that allows drivers to track their business journeys, has been downloaded over 3,500 times and earned an App Store rating of four out of five stars.

The app contains a number of features to enable drivers to track business journeys more easily, making mileage claims simpler and faster. Journeys can be viewed via GPS and destinations found quickly with the postcode look-up functionality.

It now includes a greater range of vehicles from Vauxhall and other manufacturers to choose from before entering journey details.

In addition, all important data can be backed-up, password protected and reports can be imported into Excel to be emailed to a manager, for example.

RoadTrip is currently available for free on the iPhone and Vauxhall will be launching the Android version in 2012.

Steve Catlin, fleet marketing manager at Vauxhall Motors, said: "We're delighted with the success our RoadTrip app."
