Leasedrive Group has won its first contract under the Government Procurement Service framework agreement Lot 7, covering single source supply of leased passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.

The Group is to provide contract hire vehicles on a sole supply basis to the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, the non-departmental public body. Leasedrive will also be providing SMR and accident management services on the existing fleet.

Roddy Graham, commercial director at Leasedrive, said: “The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board was very careful in choosing its new fleet partner and used a comprehensive scoring matrix on which to base its final decision. We scored highly in terms of our systems capability and our green credentials. We were also able to demonstrate clear ways of reducing costs.”

Jackie Dubery, director of HR at the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, said: “Leasedrive came out top in the contract competition and we look forward to working in partnership with them to efficiently and cost-effectively manage our vehicle requirements.”
