Liberty Electric Cars, which is designing, engineering and manufacturing electric vehicle technologies has introduced an after sales support programme for the increasing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on European roads.

Recognising the special skills, knowledge and equipment required to service and support EVs, Liberty E-Care has been created to provide advice to businesses and individuals with electric vehicles.

Engineers equipped with new and unique diagnostic tools, experience in safe intervention for high voltage systems and access to the right parts to affect quality repairs can provide a host of background information on the impact of charging types and cycles on battery life, the effect of temperature on vehicle performance, the cost of replacement parts, likely failure issues, repair costs and time, conversion programmes, and residual values.

In Liberty’s Coventry and London workshops the Liberty’s E-Care team can carry out all major servicing and repair work on electric vehicles whether the customer requires a full service, fault diagnostics or mechanical repairs.

In addition, it carries stock and is able to source a range of parts and accessories to help maintain and customise vehicles by using genuine original equipment parts, to ensure the vehicle remains in top condition and maintains its value.

The fully mobile support engineers can also assist EV owners at the roadside regardless of the time or location.

The Liberty E-Care team was created from the merger of the Liberty Electric Car support team and the Modec Service operation, which collectively had over 250 electric vehicles in the market across Europe.
