Honda has confirmed the temporary appointment of Lee Wheeler as manager, corporate operations has been made permanent.

Wheeler been with the company for more than seven years, initially in Honda Finance and then as manager, national leasing and SMR. He has also been manager, sales uupport and logistics and has more recently worked in commercial and business planning.

Confirmation of Wheeler’s role – originally announced as an interim measure on 17 September – comes at a crucial time for Honda corporate operations division.

Wheeler said: "I am delighted to be taking up the role permanently, Honda has always been a brand that offers the corporate market strong residuals and low SMR and whole life costs.

"Our new Civic 1.6 i-DTEC with its no compromise 120bhp for drivers while achieving low CO2 is just the start of series of new engines and products that will help satisfy even more company car drivers and fleet managers.”
