The brand new AutoDAB interface has been launched in response to the latest consumer concern and media buzz surrounding the switchover to digital radio. An estimated 28 million vehicles will need to find a digital radio solution over the next few years.

UK-based Connects2 has developed a full range of DAB interfaces covering 95% of all vehicles on the road in Europe.

AutoDAB is a fully integrated solution which fits behind the dashboard and gives you station name and full radio text (if the existing Radio can support it) on your vehicle’s display.

It plugs into the existing Radio in minutes, is fitted seamlessly behind the existing head-unit and requires a straightforward plug and play installation process taking no more than 30 minutes.

AutoDAB’S managing director Dave Fereday said: “The research and development team at Connects2 have been working on AutoDAB for over 18 months and I am extremely proud of the end product.

“Most people listen to digital radio in their home; AutoDAB will now allow them to continue listening to their favourite digital radio stations on the move in their cars. The beauty of AutoDAB is that it integrates so seamlessly into the vehicle that you think it was an original feature of your system.”
