E-Training World has launched a new HGV system with the aim of enabling commercial vehicle operators to risk assess their drivers with ease and efficiently.

The new system provides a 20-minute assessment with specialist HGV content. It is aimed at professional drivers covering vital topics such as vehicle loading, tachographs, reducing fuel consumption / eco-driving, drivers’ hours and low trees.

“Many logistics and haulage companies, plus other commercial vehicle operators, have been frustrated by the lack of dedicated HGV systems on the market,” said Graham Hurdle, managing director of Chichester based E-Training World. “In fact, many have told us that ours is the first they have ever seen.

“The beauty of our assessment system is that, over and above the standard HGV version, larger fleet operators can have a system whereby they can tailor the content, making it relevant to their business and drivers.”

E-Training World also offers e-modules, with focused online training courses, which can be individually tailored. For example, a company could have an online training course including video explaining their own policy regarding vehicle checks.
