Autorola has launched a new online remarketing initiative aimed at protecting a company’s brand when it disposes its used cars to the motor trade/wholesale market.

Called Branded Sites it enables manufacturers, leasing and rental companies or dealer groups to market their used cars through a personalised version of Autorola’s online auction platform directly to trade buyers in a consistent and professional way.

Autorola can personalise the vendor’s site usually within just a few hours using its brand guidelines, photography, logos and colours without compromising on the usability of its online auction system.

The service is being offered free of charge to vendors in the 17 European countries where it currently has subsidiaries.

The Autorola online auction platform is also enables vendors to split their used stock between trade buyers and their franchised dealer network simultaneously.

“The motor industry spends millions each year on building its brands and so it is vitally important to help vendors carry through this brand equity to when a used car is sold to a trade buyer or to one of their dealers,” explained Peter Grøftehauge, Autorola’s chief executive.

“Branded Sites is a highly professional way for vendors to represent their used car stock, without compromising the dynamics of the Autorola online remarketing platform.”
