Company Car In Action will offer many fleet decision makers the first opportunity to try out budget brand Dacia’s full range of vehicles in the UK.

Dacia brand manager Andy Heiron believes that the manufacturer’s low P11d pricing will attract company car drivers.

He views CCIA as a way to highlight to fleet operators how the high quality and value-for-money of the multi-award-winning SUV Duster and supermini Sandero are worthy of taking on established rivals.

“CCIA provides us with the opportunity to get our first two models in front of business customers and show them exactly what they’re getting for their money,” said Heiron. “Their affordability is naturally likely to be a draw, but we think they’ll equally be pleasantly surprised by the space, equipment and quality on offer for both employers and employees.”

Heiron cites CAP’s recent residual value predictions for the Duster as further evidence of Dacia’s fleet credentials. Duster is forecast to retain 34% of its value after three years/60,000, just 2% shy of rivals costing thousands more than its £8,995 price tag.

The SUV has taken more than 3,500 orders, while the Sandero supermini has a pre-order bank of more than 2,000.

Heiron added: “We’ve launched Dacia with a ‘you do the maths’ ethos and that’s just as applicable to fleet operators and company car drivers as it is to private buyers.”
