Lex Autolease has appointed Guy Mason as its head of fleet services, and as a member of its senior operating committee.

Guy began his career at Lex Autolease in 1985 as a buyer with Lex Vehicle Leasing. During his 28 year career at the business, Guy has held a variety of senior positions, including head of sales and marketing, head of corporate sales and director of HSBC Vehicle Finance. Most recently, Guy led the Northern sales team.

In his new role as Head of Fleet Services, Guy will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of vehicles within Lex Autolease’s 270,000 strong fleet.

Tim Porter, managing director at Lex Autolease, said: “Guy is a well-respected figure within the business and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Senior Operating Committee. As Head of Fleet Services, Guy will have a pivotal role in keeping vehicles on the roads, which is essential in minimising downtime and reducing costs for UK businesses.”
