Enterprise Rent-A-Car is relocating its UK and Ireland business support services centre as part of a major three-year expansion plan.

It has signed an initial 20-year lease with commercial property company London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) for 5,161 sq ft on the first floor of Victoria House in the centre of Aldershot, Hampshire.

Mark Snelling, business manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK Ltd, said: “We’ve had our business support services centre in Aldershot since 1999.

"However, our previous office was in an ageing property and couldn’t support our future growth.

"Victoria House provides us with the room we need to expand.

"LCP’s flexible lease terms will allow us to implement our growth plan over a number of years.

“We are one of the largest employers in Aldershot and have a large talent pool there.

"The new lease highlights our commitment to the town and the development of employees.

"There are more than 30 different roles at our business support services centre including customer service, claims handling and vehicle repair engineers.”

Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK Ltd has also committed to taking an additional 5,235 sq ft on the third floor in June 2014 and 5,235 sq ft on the fifth floor from February 2016. There is also an option to take a further floor in 2016, which will see the building fully let.

Julian Diamond, asset manager at LCP, said: “Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s expansion plan is fantastic news for Aldershot as there are likely to be new job opportunities created over the next three years and increased footfall to the town’s shops.

“Victoria House has recently been extensively refurbished following a £300,000 investment from LCP. By offering flexible lease terms and options for additional office space, we can support the company’s changing needs as it embarks on its ambitious expansion plan.”
