Burnt Tree is adding its first Euro6 models to its Refrigerental temperature-controlled rental fleet.

The multimillion pound investment follows the acquisition of Burnt Tree by Enterprise Rent-A-Car earlier this year.

Burnt Tree has not only had to purchase additional vehicles to meet current demand within the Refrigerental scheme, but it has also introduced additional refrigerated trucks in new categories at 12 and 15 tonnes.

Danny Glynn, managing director of Enterprise Flex-E-Rent and Burnt Tree said: “When Burnt Tree first launched Refrigerental there was tremendous interest in its move into temperature-controlled vehicle rental. This interest was soon translated into regular ongoing business, not just from existing customers, but also from a significant number of new customers to Burnt Tree, including several major blue chip organisations.”

“In a short period of time, Burnt Tree has created a sizeable new business operating through its 21-strong branch network. With the backing of the world’s largest vehicle rental company in Enterprise, we will continue with the planned expansion of the Burnt Tree fleet well into 2015 and beyond,” added Glynn.
