McGinley Support Services has signed a significant five-year deal with incident management specialist FMG.

The contract includes provision of end-to-end incident and roadside recovery management, coupled with FMG’s incident prevention service; including their Ingenium Dynamics driver behaviour telemetry.

Covering over 400 minibuses, vans and company cars nationwide, the deal was put in place after a successful initial trial of FMG’s solutions, which revealed around £1million of potential savings across the life of the contract.

Andy Saunders, fleet manager at McGinley Support Services, said: “With the recent introduction of FMG’s full suite of services we are confident we will see a reduction in incident rates, fuel bills and carbon emissions, whilst avoiding increases in insurance premiums.

“On occasions when incidents do still occur, we know we can rely on FMG’s proven expertise to look after our drivers and get vehicles back on the road quickly, with a quality repair at the right price.”

Harvey Stead at FMG said: “We are committed to providing intelligent solutions for every client and when McGinley came to us with a very specific set of requirements, we naturally tailored our services to fit.

“As a business which has a large number of multiple passenger vehicles, such as minibuses; safety and incident reduction is a key focus for McGinley and we are looking forward to working with them to deliver a safe and efficient fleet operation.”
