Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeing growth in its flexible vehicle hire programmes in the Irish economy.

The Irish economy is set to grow at its fastest rate since 2007, and the economy is forecast to expand by 2.1% in 2014 - business in the country is in an extremely positive position moving forward. However, the availability of operational flexibility continues to be an issue for many businesses, and naturally this has translated to the public sector – where it’s never been as important to operate within strict, and often tight, budgets.

Northgate says the offering is proving a popular choice amongst many industries – not least the public sector - whether as a sole solution to fleet requirements or as part of a wider vehicle acquisition strategy.

Peter Millen, general manager for Northgate’s Irish operation, said: “Our unique offering is proving to be very popular in Ireland, resulting in a 15% growth this financial year. We place a huge focus on quality and meeting rentable standards for our customers - offering complete flexibility and peace of mind. Our fleet features vehicles from the world’s leading manufactures and are less than three years old. We also use a quality tyre supplier – Goodyear Dunlop– to further ensure quality and safety standards are exceeded.”

Peter continued: “This focus on quality, teamed with our flexible and hassle free offering, places us in a unique position to offer a fleet solution to the public sector that hosts true operational advantages. This has helped with our success in Ireland and we feel confident that our offering will continue to benefit Ireland’s industry moving forward.”
