Fleet21 has launched a benchmark survey and is inviting anyone involved in fleet management, occupational safety or accident costs to complete the survey and help build an accurate picture of the current trends.

The survey looking at trends and attitudes in business driving is run in conjunction with Volvo and Specsavers, and follows last year's survey which had contributions from almost 1,000 employers.

According to Fleet21, the survey helped driver risk managers understand how their peers were currently addressing current issues, where they felt the focus was going to be in the coming 12 months, and where they felt the industry needed additional knowledge to improve results.

A white paper on the findings will be published and all contributors will receive a free copy before official publication.

As a thank you for completing the survey, employers will also be entitled to a free employer road risk assessment, as legally required under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 which includes a full assessment report together with guidance on minimising any risks that have been highlighted. Fleet21 normally charges £195 for this service.

There is an opportunity to provide details for the consultation at the end of the survey.

In addition, all respondents who complete the employer road risk assessment will be entered into a draw to win a free tailored risk management app worth £3000 for your drivers to download to their smartphones.

The survey can be found here.
