Alphabet has appointed David Joyce as wholesale funding manager.

Joyce, a fleet finance specialist with more than 10 years’ experience in the fleet and mobility sectors, is responsible for supporting new and existing customers, including accident management companies, car clubs and daily rental businesses, with their high-volume, multi-make funding needs.

Following the 2013 launch of AlphaElectric – a four-step process to assist companies with the introduction of electric vehicles (EVs), Alphabet’s drive to lead the market in the electric vehicle sector extends to wholesale funding, where customers benefit from very competitive rates when funding EVs.

Joyce will be working with the wider Alphabet team to further expand wholesale business in the electric vehicle sector, building on recent success with electric vehicle car clubs.

Paul Hollick, chief commercial officer, said: "We’re delighted to welcome David on board. With vast experience and knowledge of the fleet and finance management sector, David is a great addition to the team. The wholesale funding team’s success over the past 12 months is set to continue this year."
