Mercedes-Benz provided around 700 test drives at CCIA with the first opportunity for fleet operators to drive the new C-Class in the UK.

Sally Dennis, head of fleet at Mercedes-Benz, said the company was delighted with positive feedback about the newest Mercedes model, as well as other recently introduced cars such as the GLA-Class.

“We’ve worked hard on the specification of the C-Class,” she said, “And included options that are often chosen together in packs offering better value, and which should mean better whole life costs and better residual values.

“The good feedback helps us know that what we’ve been doing is right so we can keep building on it and continue to improve our offering for fleets.”

Dennis said cars such as the A-Class , CLA-Class and GLA-Class were bringing new customers to the brand, with around 80% of A-Class registrations being conquest sales.

“The A-Class has opened doors with some fleets were weren’t previously doing business with,” she added.
