The Leon was the key model for Seat at 2014’s Company Car in Action. The three- and five-door variants of the new model made their debut at the event last year, and this year were joined by the ST estate model, which completed the Leon body range.

Peter McDonald, head of fleet and business sales, was in a buoyant mood at the event, following recent award wins for the Leon, including best lower medium car at the 2014 Fleet News Awards.

“Our volume has doubled since this time last year, and the addition of the Leon ST has broadened the appeal of Seat. We’ve now made it onto several restricted badge fleet choice lists.”

McDonald stressed the importance of CCIA for the growing brand.

“When people drive our cars they enjoy them. We need to be seen, and show that we offer another credible alternative.”

“The brand now has genuine prominence.”
