Hyundai has launched two new programmes, designed for parts supply and service booking.

The ‘Made for Trade' programme now supplies the UK's 35,000 independent motor traders with Genuine Hyundai Parts.

Tony Whitehorn, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, said: "The creation of our ‘Made for Trade' parts programme follows the introduction earlier this year of Hyundai's overnight parts delivery service. Both help to enhance standards of aftersales care offered to customers and trade professionals."

"The new programme uses number-plate recognition software to make the ordering of Genuine Hyundai parts as fast and efficient as possible. Independent retailers also benefit from parts retailers, a stock check analysis tool, merchandise, promotional offers and training programmes."

Retail customers can also benefit from a new online service booking facility, available across the brand's 178 UK dealers.

Users are presented with clear dates and time slots to choose from and provided with the option of a convenient collection and delivery service. Customers are then sent an immediate email confirmation of their appointment.

Whitehorn added: "The introduction of our online booking facility is just another of the many qualitative enhancements we are making to maximise customer satisfaction across the Hyundai dealer network. We have already seen more than 150 bookings since the system went live just three weeks ago, the majority of which were placed outside of normal dealership opening hours."
