Vision Unique Equipment (VUE), the vehicle CCTV and telematics company, has appointed Kourosh Mehrabani (pictured) to the board as its new non-executive director and Emma Granger as finance manager.

Mehrabani is a former corporate finance partner of Deloitte where his experiences included advising clients on all aspects of merger and acquisitions and strategic planning.

Granger, previously a finance manager at Arcadia Group, is a chartered accountant and trained with KMPG. She joins as a key member of the management team to ensure efficient operation of accounts and development of the business as it continues to expand.

Following national commercial fleet wins, including Cemex, Speedy Hire, North East Ambulance Service and Addison Lee, VUE started the financial year with an order book worth more than £1million and had scheduled equipment installations for 2,000 vehicles in the first three months.

The company is already well ahead of its annual target to install 5,000 camera and data recording systems during 2014.

Glen Mullins, managing director of VUE, said: “Following a number of new business wins and developments, we’re thrilled to have Kourosh and Emma join the team. Strengthening our financial team will help direct us in this important stage of growth, so we’re very much looking forward to the future.”
