Citroën is making a multi-million pound investment in its specialist-bodied LCV stock, so businesses can acquire tippers, dropsides and Luton vans more quickly.

To significantly reduce the delivery times of these most popular conversions, Citroën is investing n an additional 100 ready-bodied Relay Specialist models. These models will join the already extensive new LCV stock held across the Citroën Business Centre network.

The 100 additional Relay Specialist models being added to Business Centre stockholding throughout the UK from September include:

  • 40 x New Relay 35 L2 HDi 130 6-speed manual Tipmaster-bodied Tippers
  • 30 x New Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 6-speed manual Ingimex-bodied Dropside trucks
  • 30 x New Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 6-speed manual Buckstone-bodied Luton vans

The vehicles are covered by Citroën's 2 year/unlimited mileage or 3 year/100,000 mile factory warranty for both the chassis and the conversion bodywork. Specialist models can also be acquired on attractive Citroën Contract Motoring (CCM) contract hire terms.

Jeremy Smith, Citroën's head of commercial vehicles and business sector operations, said: "To maintain the momentum of the successful Relay launch, we are now putting increased emphasis on Specialist models and Ready to Run conversions, which are increasingly in demand from our growing SME customer base.  Whether it's a Specialist model or a Ready to Run conversion, the same high quality converters are used in every case to provide the most efficient and productive ready-bodied vehicle to suit a wide variety of transport operations."
