BCA has acquired video system provider Autos on Show and dealer-to-dealer sales network Tradeouts.

Tradeouts.com is a dealer to dealer online application that enables its customers to buy and sell used vehicles. It was founded in 2012, based in Daventry, and is used by over 4,500 car dealers, advertising over 7,000 vehicles a day.

Autos on Show already powers BCA’s video appraisal service and has recently launched a new inspection application and a cutting-edge image repurposing service to the retail sector.

Autos on Show was established in 2010 by Adam and Rachel Price and is based in Cardiff, Wales. They have won awards including Microsoft Innovation of the Year Award and Retail Week Digital Excellence Award.

CEO Jon Olsen said: “We are delighted to welcome Tradeouts into BCA Group and look forward to working together to deliver ground-breaking digital solutions to dealers who today we do not have the opportunity to serve.

"Autos on Show is a natural fit within BCA’s broad suite of remarketing services and gives us scope to further enhance the range of digital services we offer our customer base.”

He added: “Tradeouts has a unique offering that is agile, customer-centric and easy to use. It is an ideal solution for dealers looking to source that unique vehicle that meets their consumer’s needs with a quick turnaround.  It also provides the platform for dealers to directly offer their unwanted stock to thousands of other dealers across the UK. ”

Price, from Autos on Show, added: "Our strength as our company is our dedication to technical innovation and by joining the BCA family it means our technical abilities are now combined with BCA's global scale and commercial operations.  It is a powerful and compelling synergy.”
