Peugeot has been awarded with four new ‘Vehicle Purchase Framework Agreements’ from the Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

The four categories are cars, light commercial vehicles, police cars and police light commercial vehicles. They were the only tenders which Peugeot submitted, and were ranked by CCS as number one in three categories and second in the selection of police cars.

Martin Gurney, fleet and used car director, said: “This is a first class result for Peugeot. Sales to local authorities, police forces, public sector agencies and Government departments remain a significant element of our corporate business. Public Sector sales is a field in which Peugeot has always excelled, but this news is confirmation that we certainly have the right products and the correct fleet strategy in place.”

CCS is the official framework which all Government departments must use to procure vehicles. Devolved agencies such as councils can opt to use it or buy elsewhere, but it remains a key indicator as to what are the most competitive products available in the market.
