National Windscreens has been appointed sole appointed supplier for all windscreen repair and replacement jobs booked through Ageas' dedicated Glass Line.

Ageas provides a number of motor insurance policies for a range of intermediaries and partners that cover a wide range of vehicles throughout the UK.

It has worked with National Windscreens for a number of years and the recent contract extension is testimony to the level of service it has received from the independently owned company.

National Windscreens’ insurance executive, Lisa Pugh, said: “Ageas prides itself on its customer service and only works with carefully selected service providers to ensure that its high standards are preserved throughout all stages of customers’ interactions.

“Over the past few years National Windscreens has proved to Ageas Insurance that it offers the quality of service expected and as such it is a natural fit.”

National Windscreens operates 108 fitting centres across the UK and more than 800 mobile units – this customer serviced approach means that on average a UK motorist is never more than 11 miles or 20 minutes away from a National Windscreens technician.

The company’s dedicated services for Insurers and Insurance Brokers have resulted in contracts with a number of leading companies; National Windscreens has direct billing arrangements with more than 70 insurance providers and a significant number of high-street brokers hold Broker Accounts.

National Windscreens’ managing director, Pete Marsden, added: “We are very pleased to have had our customer service offering recognised through the extension of our contract with Ageas. We work hard to make sure that insurers and their policy holders benefit from the highest levels of service and we aim to add value wherever possible. Whether that’s through claim handler training, offering dedicated phone lines or providing regular Management Information.
