Former Ford of Britain fleet director Kevin Griffin has been appointed as the manufacturer's director of sales for the UK.

He left his fleet role in November 2012 to become regional director sales operations for Ford of Europe.

Griffin was one of three senior appointments announced by Ford of Britain this week, following Andy Barratt being named its chairman and managing director at the beginning of the month.

Lisa Brankin is appointed director of marketing, Ford of Britain, moving from her current position as head of dealer operations and succeeding Anthony Ireson who has been appointed director marketing communications, Ford of Europe.

Paul Singleton, currently manager order fulfilment, Ford of Europe, is taking over Lisa Brankin’s role as head of dealer operations.

Barratt said: “I am delighted to welcome Kevin back to the Ford of Britain team. He will be able to deploy his considerable sales expertise to maximum benefit as we work to grow Ford's UK sales leadership and maximise the potential of Ford’s latest and newest-ever range of cars and CVs.”

All three appointments are effective from August 1.
