Telematics developer and supplier Airmax Remote has overhauled its IT infrastructure to deliver a faster, scalable and more resilient delivery framework.

The company says the new infrastructure will accommodate the launch of its third-generation hardware.

Airmax Remote also celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

“This is a great achievement and enables us to now build a solid foundation for the growth we are expecting to achieve in both the public and private sectors within the next 12 months and five years alike,” said a spokesman.

He added that its technical teams will now benefit from new advanced system and network monitoring tools that allow health monitoring for both internal and external customers.

“We also are able to now schedule real-time replication across data centres for increased continuity, enabling us to perform regular, routine backups’” added the spokesman.

“This now means customers can have peace of mind for superior data security and future proofed compliance, including uncompromising reliability.

“The solution is compliant with all supplier agreements, as this service continues to be hosted in the UK, which remains Airmax’s USP of total “cradle to grave” supplier with ownership of all IP.”

“In terms of online storage, the new infrastructure has enabled Airmax to ensure resilience and operational efficiency,” said Ashley Duddle, managing director of Airmax Remote.

“Providing real-time information is a fundamental part of our service, so having an IT infrastructure which can support this is critical.

“Customer satisfaction and their experience is the main drive for this project, as there is an association between the performances against their experience.

“As we process a high volume of real time data each day, it is essential that every area of our infrastructure – especially our storage environment - is able to operate quickly and with extremely low latency.”
