There is one week to go until the closing date for entries to the 2016 Fleet News Awards.

The Fleet News Awards are the ultimate recognition. Whether you are a fleet decision maker, supplier or manufacturer, they are the greatest honour in fleet.

New hall of famer Larry Bannon told us he’d been “inundated with congratulations from well-wishers” and that it “means so much to be recognised by the industry that I have worked in all my life”, while Richard Schooling, chief executive of leasing company of the year Alphabet, said: “You cannot appreciate how much this means to me and the team!”

Malcolm Pearson, Holdcroft group fleet director and fleet dealer of the year, noted that his business had won other awards in each of the three previous years, but that the Fleet News accolade was “the big one for us”.

Why? The Fleet News Awards have a rich 28-year history of recognising the best in fleet. The entry process is the most detailed, providing a highly experienced judging panel, drawn from fleet experts, with sufficient evidence to reach the right decision.

And those decisions are overseen by awards chairman Christopher Macgowan, a former chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and ratified by awards auditor Deloitte, ensuring no bias or prejudice. The entire process is rigorously controlled and completely transparent.

Our proud Fleet News Awards winners will collect their coveted trophies at the glittering ceremony on March 10 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The deadline for awards entries is November 13. Details of categories and entry criteria are available here, and entry forms should be requested from fleetnewsawards@bauermedia.co.uk.
